The Chocolate Factory is a local manufacturer of fine chocolate products. Our chocolates are produced daily, ensuring the highest quality for our customers. We pride ourselves on manufacturing products on an as-needed basis, which means there is no overstocking of unused products.

This allows us the ability to offer quality, service, and pride in everything we offer. All of our chocolates are manufactured in our St. Marys location and transported fresh, daily to our London location, located in the Covent Garden Market. This ensures our chocolates are fresh and of the highest quality for our customers.

The Chocolate Factory was established in 1986 in St. Marys Ontario by its original owners Pat and Ron Cottrell who are now semi-retired. They have passed the wooden spoon on to their daughter Liz and her husband Derek. After a few years of offering high-quality chocolates in St. Marys and surrounding areas, the opportunity arose to open a second store location in the heart of the city of London Ontario.

So in 1990, a second location was opened located in the Covent Garden Market in the downtown core of London, across from the John Labatt’s Centre, where it remains in business today. We still offer the same quality as we did in 1986 and look forward to many more years of producing fine chocolate for our clients.
